So I’ve watched this horse sit in a pasture for years all by himself. I stop every time I see him to give him a treat and some much desired attention. He’s the sweetest thing! If I drive by, he’ll rear in the pasture and gallop over to my truck. I’ve been asking for the past two years, and this summer the owner was finally willing to sell! I’ve been working all summer to save up the money for the horse and the vet bills. Everything was settled until my parents told me this weekend that they couldn’t help pay for board anymore.
I’m heartbroken. Every animal deserves to be cherished. Jesse deserves so much more than to be a pasture ornament for the rest of his life. What should I do? If anyone has any sort of suggestion, please please don’t be shy to share!
